Bitter & Sweet – Darenimo Naisho [single review]

This is a pretty good Japanese duo group from Upfront Create. Their first single Install was nice so they’ve been under my radar ever since. They just released a new single – Darenimo Naisho/Gesshoku. Darenimo has a catchy intro and I love the synths. Not to mention, that beat in the beginning got me attracted right away. Both vocalists are strong and they sound soothing in my ears.

The coupling track, Gesshoku sounds like ballad initially, gotta love that sweet keyboard intro. It’s a midtempo. I’m not really into this track, it sounds a bit bland for me but I really do like the keys.

This single is not as strong as Install but nevertheless, still catchy and they seem to be going in the right direction. I’m sure their major album will be quite good if they continue like this.

Score: 7.5/10
